As some of you know I recently completed the CPMR Program. For those of you not familiar with this term, let me give you the details! Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative (CPMR) is for anyone providing outsourced sales functions to manufacturers, regardless of industry. It is a professional designation earned by an individual, not a firm.
The CPMR program is executive education for firm owners and managers. Participants invest one week annually for three years on campus at Arizona State University. Attendees gain knowledge and insight into operating a business more effectively and profitably.
Professionally this is an outstanding opportunity! Over the past 3 years this program has given me some great resources and perspectives for management of the outside rep function.
